Miss Julia Rocks the Cradle
Apr 21, 2011

Miss Julia Rocks the Cradle
Author: Ann B. Ross
Publisher: Viking Books
Publication Date: April 2011
ISBN-13: 9780670022557

This is the 11th book in a long running set of stories about Miss Julia,  a kind and  gentle woman with just enough spunk to continuously get herself in trouble as she can't help but interfere in other's business.  She is constantly trying to help others.  This book has her not only helping her neighbors with their issues but also has her trying to solve a crime or two.

A dead body is found near Miss Julia's house with no indication of who committed the murder.  Then sleazy guy Thurlow for some unknown reason starts trying to throwing suspician onto Miss Petty.. Why? Of course Miss Julia needs to get into the middle of that mess.

At the same time, someone else... or might it be the same person... is writing bad checks in her name - yet another crime to solve!

Then Hazel Marie has the audacity to go into labor with twins, in middle of blizzard, leaving  Miss Julia delivering to also become a midwife.

A lot of action that might leave you wondering just how quiet small town America really is!  A nice story to lose yourself in for a while.

Welcome to the Dew Book Review Section!

Welcome to the Book Review Section at the Dew!

If you are a publishing house or author who has a book Southern in nature, or by a Southern writer, that you would like the Dew to review, please contact me at dewonthekudzu@gmail.com and I will provide you mailing information. (Wink wink, nudge nudge... the Dew has been getting a little lax about the Southern rule recently... just saying.)

The Dew tries it's best to have a review online as close to the publication date as possible, depending on the number of books waiting for review.

Please note, book reviews are the Dew's "business". The Dew does NOT post it's reviews on other sites. Please do not request that we do so. Thank you.

BUT, if I review your book, you may feel free to share it wherever you wish!
