This is a regular old contemporary romance by an acclaimed romance writer. Rachel Gibson. It has a decent plot, a hot man and a sexy woman who are both prone to shying away from real relationship issues. Vince is a Navy Seal with no real psychological scars from war but his dreams while asleep get pretty intense and he prefers no one find out about them. Sadie is looking to remain independent and not locked down to a home base. She also has a lot of daddy issues.
Together they meet up in a small Texas town where they are each visiting for their own reasons. His “package” is immediately noticed and her “total hotness” is noticed as well. Together they tease their way into really hot sex, and against their will… a relationship. But can they make it last?
Rachel’s writing does tend toward the witty/snarky side of things which livens up a story and keeps you interested in the characters.
