The Welcome Home Garden Club
Author: Lori Wilde
Publisher: Avon/HarperCollins
Publication Date: March 29, 2011
ISBN:  9780061988431

Continuing the warmhearted stories that come out of the town of Twilight, Texas - this one centers on Caitlyn Marsh and her struggle to overcome lost love and thrive on her own as a single mother.

Years ago the love of her life, Gideon, died. She moved forward from that agony and married, having a son.  Unfortunately her husband has also died just six months ago.

She is working to overcome her losses, raise her son and make a comfortable home for the two of them.  She's surrounded by the caring ladies of Twilight, with their various town clubs and activities.  Many of these women you recognize from earlier books in this series, which makes it fun - you feel like you're continuing to "know" them.

The day of the funeral of the town's wealthiest, meanest man - who also happened to be Gideon's father - the unthinkable happens.  A motorcycle pulls up to the funeral and as the helmet comes off - everyone, including Caitlyn - sees the man they've all thought dead for 8 or so years now.  That's right - Gideon.

What will happen to Caitlyn's well ordered life now that her one true love is mysteriously back from the dead?  What of her son, who looks suspiciously more like Gideon than his father?

A fun, romantic read - perfect for that Spring Break vacation!

Welcome to the Dew Book Review Section!

Welcome to the Book Review Section at the Dew!

If you are a publishing house or author who has a book Southern in nature, or by a Southern writer, that you would like the Dew to review, please contact me at dewonthekudzu@gmail.com and I will provide you mailing information. (Wink wink, nudge nudge... the Dew has been getting a little lax about the Southern rule recently... just saying.)

The Dew tries it's best to have a review online as close to the publication date as possible, depending on the number of books waiting for review.

Please note, book reviews are the Dew's "business". The Dew does NOT post it's reviews on other sites. Please do not request that we do so. Thank you.

BUT, if I review your book, you may feel free to share it wherever you wish!
