Gone With a Handsomer Man

Gone With a Handsomer Man
Author: Michael Lee West
Publisher: Minotaur Books
Publication Date: April 26, 2011
ISBN: 978-0-312-57122-1

What do you do if you come home early from cooking school to find your fiance playing badmitton in the backyard of  your house with two women.........all three of them naked?  You of course climb a tree like Teeny, start lobbing unripe peaches at them until the police cut down the tree, handcuff you and charge you with battery.

So starts this book.  If that doesn't bring a smile to your face nothing will.

The pace keeps up from there as Teeny's fiance is shortly thereafter found dead, Teeny is charged with murder......and her hunky ex-boyfriend who disappeared 11 years ago suddenly shows up in the form of a lawyer who plans on defending her innocence.

This story takes some fairly interesting twists and turns, all with humor thrown into the mix.  The ending is quite unexpected, and I found myself appalled and laughing at the same time.

Cute read, perfect for that early beach vacation!

Welcome to the Dew Book Review Section!

Welcome to the Book Review Section at the Dew!

If you are a publishing house or author who has a book Southern in nature, or by a Southern writer, that you would like the Dew to review, please contact me at dewonthekudzu@gmail.com and I will provide you mailing information. (Wink wink, nudge nudge... the Dew has been getting a little lax about the Southern rule recently... just saying.)

The Dew tries it's best to have a review online as close to the publication date as possible, depending on the number of books waiting for review.

Please note, book reviews are the Dew's "business". The Dew does NOT post it's reviews on other sites. Please do not request that we do so. Thank you.

BUT, if I review your book, you may feel free to share it wherever you wish!
