Spring Fever
Author: Mary Kay Andrews
Publisher: St. Martin's Press
Publication Date:  June 5, 2012
ISBN: 978-0-312-64271-6

Mary Kay has the skill and talent to drop you right into someone else's life from the first chapter.   I opened the first page and immediately found myself interested in the events on the page and wanting to find out... what next?

The story opens with Annajane actually sitting in church watching her ex-husband Mason standing at the alter....waiting for his new bride to walk down the aisle.  Not only is she sitting in church watching his life move on but since their divorce five years ago, she has continued to work at his family's soda company.  Interesting no?

After Mason's wedding comes to an abrupt halt due to his daughter experiencing a medical emergency, Annajane realizes that she was nearly about to jump up and stop the wedding herself as she still has very strong feelings for Mason.  On top of that, she's become suspicious of Mason's almost bride, Celia, after overhearing her on a cell phone, making plans with someone else that appears to be in regards to the future of the Mason's company.

The story continues on as Annajane tries to sort out her feelings, find out what Celia is up to, discover what Mason's father was hiding and finally, decide if she's going to move on with her life or try to gain back what she had..........and still wants.

A nice story, a little bit of mystery and intrigue involved, and characters that you quickly come to care about.

Altogether, another Mary Kay winner!

Welcome to the Book Review Section at the Dew!

If you are a publishing house or author who has a book Southern in nature, or by a Southern writer, that you would like the Dew to review, please contact me at dewonthekudzu@gmail.com and I will provide you mailing information. (Wink wink, nudge nudge... the Dew has been getting a little lax about the Southern rule recently... just saying.)

The Dew tries it's best to have a review online as close to the publication date as possible, depending on the number of books waiting for review.

Please note, book reviews are the Dew's "business". The Dew does NOT post it's reviews on other sites. Please do not request that we do so. Thank you.

BUT, if I review your book, you may feel free to share it wherever you wish!
