Sarah and David are a long married couple who have never managed to have children. Sarah has grown increasingly bitter and closed off after each miscarriage. David is a frustrated artist who gave up his creative art to find a stable job as a doctor, so that he could support the family that never happened.
David and Sarah have been going along as individuals living in a house together rather than lovers for a long time.
One day, everything changes.
David is first declared missing and then dead after he goes on a kayaking trip and disappears during a storm.
Sarah is suddenly a widow. A young widow, not quite 40, who happens to have a very attractive, single brother-in-law who's very attentive to her.
But then, David's ghost starts popping up all over the house. Sarah starts smelling his cologne and feeling his presence everywhere.
Before too long a shocking revelation occurs and Sarah must now make decisions on what direction her life will head.
What happens when you're offered a chance to start your life over from scratch with no burdens or responsibilities...........................or given the choice to go right back to where you already were?
This is Sarah's story.
Oh yah.... the ending is a real shocker!
