The Body Farm has been mentioned in many books and t.v. shows, but not too many stories actually center around the Farm itself.

This book does... in all it's graphic details.

Bill Brockton is head of The Body Farm and delights in discovering all the ways a body can decompose. He is also on call for various FBI cases where death time lines need to be established. He and his assistant delight in a very gruesome sort of humor.

But when they discover, after a routine exhumation, that many bodies appear to be missing parts once the funeral is over, Bill is asked to use his role at The Body Farm to go undercover as a "parts seller" to find out what's going on.

Do they have a sick person stealing body parts for no real reason on their hands, or do they have a conspiracy within one of the big labs that are specializing in recreating parts for amputees?

A very good crime mystery with all the details that fans of CSI shows and procedural books adore. This is the fourth book in this series. I may have to go check out the first three now!
