The Dew reviewed the second book in this trilogy back in September 2009. While it was enjoyable I did mention in that review that I felt the story was only filled out completely if you started from the first book. I don't feel these are stand alone books, though the stories themselves are entertaining.

Tammy Jo Trask, residing witch of Duvall, Texas has passed her tests and is a certified, practicing witch. Well, she's certified, but her spells continue to cause havoc everywhere she turns.

Add her lack of spell control to the fact that there's a posse of the wholesome league out to get rid of her, a World Association of Magic convention about to hit town fully set on causing chaos throughout, and a very hot warlock willing to help her out - for a price - and you have a non stop action paranormal romance book in your hands.

Lots of humor, intrigue and magic!
