A truly adorable slim book about 2 people and 2 cats, slowly following in love.
When Lacey's cat gets amorous with the neighbor's cat and kittens are soon on the way, Lacey must deal with Jack and his Tom cat to make sure the kittens find good homes.
Meanwhile Jack would like very much to get to know Lacey on a deeper level that "Cat Grandparents". Lacey though is recovering from an unexpected divorce and is guy shy about another relationship, even if they are already "related" via the cats.
A cute book involving cats, love and learning to trust again.
This is a slim novel, perfect for your next plane ride or a lazy afternoon read.

Bonus:
Debbie has several short vignettes at the back of the book, showcasing her other works.
In between Family Affair and the shorts by Debbie, there is included in this book a novella by Darlene Panzera. Darlene was one of hundreds who entered this contest given by Debbie's publisher to be included in this paperback edition and she was the winner. Her story is entitled "The Bet" and I think you'll enjoy it. A cute modern romance.
