Angel Time
Author: Anne Rice
Publisher: Alfred A. Knopf Publishers
Publication Date: October 2009
ISBN: 978-1-4000-4358-8

Lucky the Fox - who in earlier times of life was known as Toby O'Dare - is a very efficient, very well established.... assassin. An assassin who grew up wanting to be a priest. That is until life grabbed him, shook him and knocked all the joy and love out of him.

A horrific event changes his life forever at 18, and now 10 years later he finds himself ever on the hunt for the next kill. But - he hates unneeded pain and tends to stay with his victims until they die to help them pass peacefully. He tries also to kill without unneeded violence. Needles filled with poison are his weapon of choice.

One day, while waiting for his victim to die, he sees someone staring at him. This person than walks right into the room where he has just killed and offers Toby a new chance at life and redemption.

This person just happens to be an Angel. Not Toby's guardian angel, who was decided to not be strong enough for this job, but an angel of a much higher level who's been watching Toby since he was born and decided now was the time to give him another start at life. Actually, he wants him to become one of them and help save others who have fallen.

But first, they head back to the 13th century where Toby can fulfill his dream of being a priest and saving innocents who have been accused of treachery and murder against children. If he can fulfill this task in the manner needed, he can find redemption.

Welcome to the Dew Book Review Section!

Welcome to the Book Review Section at the Dew!

If you are a publishing house or author who has a book Southern in nature, or by a Southern writer, that you would like the Dew to review, please contact me at dewonthekudzu@gmail.com and I will provide you mailing information. (Wink wink, nudge nudge... the Dew has been getting a little lax about the Southern rule recently... just saying.)

The Dew tries it's best to have a review online as close to the publication date as possible, depending on the number of books waiting for review.

Please note, book reviews are the Dew's "business". The Dew does NOT post it's reviews on other sites. Please do not request that we do so. Thank you.

BUT, if I review your book, you may feel free to share it wherever you wish!
