Okay now folks, a book with a title like this cannot be anything but a winner! I laughed at the title a full 5 minutes before even opening the book.
Celia is once again at the top of her game with her newest book. Each chapter is it's own story. Many are fully fleshed out versions of her weekly column, but in her own book they don't have to stay quite so "PC" as when in the paper.
Celia is a sharp, sarcastic, extremely Southern woman who says what she thinks. Heck she says what half of us think, but are afraid to ever say. I don't think I could ever sit through a lunch with her as I'd constantly be choking on food from laughter or spewing sweet tea out my nose.
Some of the stories in her book include:
- Gwyneth Paltrow trying to save the world through her new website
- Mom jeans and why they should be burned
- High School Musical - we all want to watch Troy now don't we?
- The wonders of being a Queen for a Day, even if it's the Pecan Queen
- If you can't have a tent revival... use a bucket - just as good!
I suggest you grab this book and if you want a weekly dose of humor, go to her website and check out weekly column.
