This is the 4th fun Elvis book that’s come my way. Elvis doesn’t hang out in casinos all that much anymore (well, not all the time anyway) since he has been reincarnated as a hound dog. Callie is his owner who’s he over the moon for. Heaven forbid he was in human form!
Elvis and Callie, along with Callie’s family and mysterious ex-husband (no one’s quite sure what he does for a living) always seem to find themselves mired in a crime scene or mystery. This time they travel to Cozumel where they find a skeleton that is obviously not an ancient Mayan.
Callie tries desperately not to get into the middle of another mystery and be the super sleuth this time, but she finds that impossible to stick to when her cousin and dog go missing.
Can she find them before it’s too late? A fun read as always. Sassy, sexy with plenty of bawdy humor and a very amusing dog.
As I state in my last review, while not necessary.... it does help to read the books in order to keep up with the characters.
