The Road to Hell is Seldom Seen

The Road to Hell is Seldom Seen
Author: Cappy Hall Rearick
Publisher: Smashwords Ebook
Publication Date: January 2011

Cappy is trying something new ya'll.  Actually she's trying all sorts of new.

She's not only sent her newest book straight to ebook to see how well that works (and from what I've heard, it's working quite well indeed) but this is not her usual writing.... at all.

This is dark stuff.

During the Depression, Nora and her family are moved to the middle of nowhere by their father.  The house is on a road that has few visitors...in fact it's......seldom seen.

Their daddy is a violent, violent man.  No one should cross him.  No one should look him in the eye.  The entire family does their best to keep him calm.  Their poor mother is a shell of a woman, beaten down on a regular basis.

This story involves murder, beatings, poverty and the attempts to escape this life before it's too late.

Cappy on a whole new level.  Definitely worth the read!

Special treat - you can download the first 8 chapters for free!  Trust me, you will go back for the rest of the book!   Go here for the book.

Book also available directly from Kindle.........AND... all proceeds of the book's sale will go to Amity House, a shelter for victims of domestic abuse in Brunswick.

Welcome to the Dew Book Review Section!

Welcome to the Book Review Section at the Dew!

If you are a publishing house or author who has a book Southern in nature, or by a Southern writer, that you would like the Dew to review, please contact me at dewonthekudzu@gmail.com and I will provide you mailing information. (Wink wink, nudge nudge... the Dew has been getting a little lax about the Southern rule recently... just saying.)

The Dew tries it's best to have a review online as close to the publication date as possible, depending on the number of books waiting for review.

Please note, book reviews are the Dew's "business". The Dew does NOT post it's reviews on other sites. Please do not request that we do so. Thank you.

BUT, if I review your book, you may feel free to share it wherever you wish!
