This is the continuation of the story of CiCi, Lindsay, Bridget and various amusing folk surrounding them as they work to make a living on the rundown historic mansion they purchased on a whim 3 years before and now are unsure of how to make it survive. They have a small art studio, a revived winery and a “store” that produces jams and jellies. They are surviving, but definitely not thriving.
It’s suggested by friends that they open their home up for events such as weddings and receptions. These friends also just happen to know a family in need as their wedding spot has sustained damage and they have no where to go on very short notice.
Against their better judgment, but with the bigger picture (and bigger bills) looming in their minds, they reluctantly agree to host a wedding. As often happens, disasters abound.
This is a very amusing, heartwarming tale of friends clinging together and helping to support each other as everything from bridezillas, soon to be mothers-in-law and yes, loose goats all literally butt heads. Then up pops an unexpected romance for one of the ladies to add to this chaotic mix!
A fun book well worth taking the time to read.
